THANK YOU for joining us at the LINCOLN SPRING FLING.
ADMISSION: Wear your nametag at all times – it is your admission to all events.

DIRECTIONS: To the Lancaster Event Center from I-80. Take exit 409 (Waverly/Lincoln). Go left onto Hwy. 6 (Cornhusker Hwy.) to Lincoln. Go approx. 0.6 miles to 84th Street. Turn left. Go to Havelock Ave. Approx. 1.3 miles. Turn left and go approx. 0.1 miles. (You will be able to see the Lancaster Event Center and their sign before you reach Havelock Ave.) The Lincoln Room is the building on the NW corner of the site. 

EVENTS: All events are in the Lincoln Room unless otherwise noted.

PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY: Parents are responsible for the safety and appropriate behavior of their accompanying children. Children must be supervised at all times.

SMOKING AREA: Outside only. Please smoke away from the entrances and dispose of butts in the designated cans.

PARKING: Parking is free. All parking spaces onsite are available for use. Be sure to park only in authorized parking areas. Vehicles blocking fire lanes, loading zones, parked in grassy areas, or any other unauthorized yellow marked areas will be towed at the owner’s expense without any announcements from the podium.

CONVENTION-RELATED SALES: The Lincoln Spring Fling policy is that the sale of AA/Al-Anon/Alateen related materials is only permitted in the AA Central Office Store, and the LSF Speaker Audio Sales table. All others are asked to refrain.

LOCAL AA: Information on AA groups in the Lincoln area is available in the Central Office Store and along the north wall of the Lincoln Room.

CAMPING: 200 campsites with 30 & 50 amp electrical hook-ups, showers and dumping available. Overnight camping fees of $25 are NOT included in the event registration. Water is available at the dump station. About half of the sites are on crushed rock and half on grass. Contact the Lancaster Event Center for more information: Phone 402-441-6545 or Fax 402-441-6046. MEALS: Meals are on your own. Several restaurants are within 1-2 miles from the Lancaster Event Center. Check out link on the "Resources" page.

RESERVED SEATING: “Reserved” seating is limited to chairs designated for the guest speakers, their spouses, and the hearing impaired. Paper “RESERVED” signs will be placed on these chairs. All other seating is on a first-come basis. Reserving multiple seats is strongly discouraged. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration in this matter.

DANCE: There will be a dance in the Lincoln Room following the Friday evening speaker. All LSF registrations give the holder full access to all events without additional charges ($4 All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream excluded).

COMEDIAN: There will be a national headlining comedian in the Lincoln Room following the Saturday evening speaker. All LSF registrations give the holder full access to all events without additional charges. There is a $10 fee for all "non-registered" persons who want to attend only the comedy show..

HOSPITALITY AREAS: AA and Al-Anon Group and District sponsored hospitality areas will be located in the Lincoln Room. Tables and chairs are in a commons area and tables set up for food for all groups to use around the commons area. Many of the groups serve refreshments. Drop in and renew old friendships and make new ones.

RECORDINGS: Will be available for purchase at the event or afterward on the LSF website. Each speaker story or workshop can be purchased individually or in sets. See the website for the most current information available.

LOST AND FOUND: Located in the Registration area. 

EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENTS: Personal emergency announcements can be made from the podium during meetings. Write the emergency announcement and turn it in to the registration table. They will present the message for announcement at the earliest possible moment. Please make certain your announcements are genuinely emergencies and CANNOT wait 30-60 minutes until the speaker concludes.

GENERAL INFORMATION: The AA Central Office Store –located in the Lincoln Room, is only open when speakers are not in progress. Literature and souvenirs, medallions and other items are available.

COFFEE: Coffee is FREEDonations to help cover the costs are greatly appreciated!

NEXT SPRING FLING: The 2017 dates for the 32nd Annual Lincoln Spring Fling are APRIL 20–22. Information will be posted here on our website as it becomes available.
